Our New Building

Building on Hope: An Update on Our Renovation Journey
What began as a simple renovation has become a powerful reminder
of why this work matters so much.
This past season, we were able to completely transform the back corner of our church building. What once was bright yellow, broken, and uninsulated siding has now been replaced with a clean, modern exterior wrap—signaling new life and renewed purpose.
But when we pulled back the old siding, we discovered much more than we expected.
Years of shortcuts had left the building vulnerable: animals had been able to enter, insulation was missing, electrical and heat pump systems were not up to code and posed fire risks, and there was no proper foundation supporting parts of the structure. What we uncovered could not be ignored.
By God’s grace—and through the generosity of faithful partners—we were able to do the hard but necessary work. We re-laid the foundation, brought the electrical systems up to code, and properly insulated the space. We didn’t just fix what was visible; we strengthened what was underneath. We chose to build wisely, safely, and for the long term.
Now, winter in Maine has brought construction to a standstill. The bitter weather has paused our progress—but it has not paused our vision.
As we look toward spring, our hope is to be fully prepared to restart work immediately: wrapping the entire building, completing the exterior, and repaving the parking lot so our space is welcoming, safe, and ready to serve our community for years to come.
We are prayerfully asking you to consider partnering with us in this next phase. Your gift will help lay a foundation—not just for a building, but for future generations to gather, worship, and serve one another and our community.
The impact of faithful ministry in Maine is great. If ever there was a place in need of hope, it is here.
Thank you for praying with us, standing with us, and investing in what God is building for the future.
